MISSOULA, Mont. — A "Reimagining the Montana Tech Courtyard" forum will be held on Tuesday.

The event will take place from noon to 12:30 p.m. in the courtyard and will allow the community the opportunity to hear about planned changes to the courtyard as the university takes the first steps towards renovating Main Hall and Engineering Hall.

Attendees will be able to see renderings of the reimagined space. Planned activities include removal of diseased and damaged trees, replacement with new trees and greenery, as well as the leveling of the raised platform in the center of campus.

"The changes will significantly improve storm water capture, addressing current drainage issues, a press release notes. "Plus, removing the raised platform will boost campus accessibility, a key goal of the facilities master plan."
